The Nigeria Football Federation confirms that the President of FIFA, Gianni Infantino and African Football Federation Presidents from 25 countries will grace the second edition of the NFF Awards which will hold in Lagos on April 1.
The NFF Award is to reward Nigerian footballers and administrators who were outstanding in the previous year and the award ceremony which made its debut last year will also recognize the Super Eagles team of the 1994 class with special posthumous awards to the departed among them.
The President of the NFF, Amaju Pinnick has put all logistics in place to have a better award ceremony this term than that of last year.
According to Pinnick, he said: “We are going to be given special recognition to the Super Eagles class of 1994. We are going to honour those among them that are late too,”
“We are expecting the FIFA President, Gianni Infantino while Football Federation Presidents from 25 African countries are expected to participate in the occasion.
We have put everything in motion to ensure that we have a hitch-free and a better-packaged event.”
