Real Madrid comfortably dispatched Al Hilal in the final of the FIFA Club World Cup to clinch their 5th title.

A brace each from Vinicius Jr (16′, 69′) and Federico Valverde (18′, 58′) inspired Real Madrid’s record extending win.

Karim Benzema also got on the score sheet (54′) on the night at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium on Saturday.

Moussa Marega (26′) and Luciano Vietto (63′, 79′) got the goals for Al Hilal as they fell 5-3 in their first ever FIFA CWC final appearance.

Meanwhile, Odion Ighalo came off the bench with four minutes left of regular time.

Ighalo was part of Al Hilal’s historic run in the competition, but the Forward failed to find the back of the net.

Real Madrid were the most successful team in the competition with four titles ahead of Barcelona (3), the European champions have never lost in any final they competed in.
