Former Super Eagles head coach, Samson Siasia has moved to deny claims that he lost his case against FIFA regarding the 5-year ban he was served for integrity breaches.

Siasia explained that the recent court hearing in January was about Jurisdiction as he would prefer the Court of Arbitration for Sports to be moved from New York city to Atalanta.

“It’s just about jurisdiction, there was no case, there was no hearing; just argument over jurisdictions.”

“My lawyer is from New York he wants the case to be in New York but I don’t live in New York, the case wasn’t heard because there was no jurisdiction, so, we are trying to take it back to Atalanta where I reside.

“So people don’t understand, they say I lost but no, there was nothing like losing there.”

In a chat with FL Siasia revealed his ban ends next year and insists on his innocent of all charges against him.

The 55 year-old also revealed that he is not trying to reduce the ban, as he has already served the majority of it but is seeking compensation for his ordeal as the prosecution have been unable to prove him guilty.

“That’s what I am seeking now nothing else because the case has been done, and because FIFA cases can’t be taken to our National courts; you have to take it to CAS. We have done that already through zoom meetings, and that was when they reduced the ban from life to five years.

“However, up till now they can’t even tell me what the ban is all about, they are accusing me of bribery but they cannot prove that things like that actually happened, so, I am seeking for compensation that’s why I am doing all these things, not trying to reduce the ban or anything.

“The ban is already done, next year makes five years and there is nothing anybody can do about it, I just need compensation for what FIFA did to me.”
