Turkish club Fenerbahce are reportedly making efforts to extend the contract of Nigerian defender Bright Osayi-Samuel.

Osayi-Samuel, who has one year remaining on his current contract, has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs including Brentford, Bournemouth, Fulham, and West Ham United.

Fenerbahce is looking to secure the RB’s services for an extended period and is considering elevating his salary as part of the contract extension negotiations.

The 25-year-old has been in good form, contributing three goals and two assists in 18 appearances for Fenerbahce in the current season.

Bright Osayi-Samuel joined Fenerbahce from Queens Park Rangers in 2021 and has become a key player for the Turkish club.

The move to extend his contract could be seen as an effort by Fenerbahce to fend off competition from Premier League clubs vying for his signature.
