FC Banik Ostrava continued their good run in the early days of the league season, picking up a third straight win as they defeated FK Pardubice 3-1 at the Mestsky stadion on Sunday.
Second half goals from Daniel Tetour (54′), Azevedo (73′) and Jiri Klima (85′) ensured an easy three points for Ostrava.
Ondřej Smetana’s men have scored 11 goals in three games, conceding only four goals in the four round of games played so far.
The Manager replaced Nigerian wide attacker Yira Sor in the 75th minute, after a good day’s shift.
Sor, who has a goal already this season, has featured in all four games played this season, Sunday being his most minutes.
The 21 year-old joined Ostrava in 2019 from amateur side 36 Lions FC.
