Heads are already rolling in Barcelona over some of the terrible deals done in the last couple of years and the team’s unimpressive performance last season, with the sack of Sporting Manager Josep Segura.

In May, Pep’s sack was predicted following the club’s less than impressive season, which saw them knocked out of the UEFA Champions League in the semi-final by Liverpool.

The Catalan side were also stunned by Valencia in the Copa del Rey final. Their only consolation being the Liga title.

Per Chiranjib Ghosh [everythingbarca.com], Apparently, he has failed to perform satisfactorily. Many of the directors want to sack him immediately, but Bartomeu still has faith in his own appointment.

On Friday, in a statement published on its website, Barcelona said it had “reached an agreement to terminate” the embattled Director’s appointment.

The statement continues:

FC Barcelona publicly expresses its gratitude to Josep Segura for his commitment and dedication, and wishes him good luck and success in the future.
