With more than half the votes cast by FC Nantes fans, Simon Moses was voted the club’s player of the Month for August.
Simon played all four Ligue 1 matches in the first month of the new season and his goal contribution of three assists is the most by any player in the opening weeks of the league.
In the announcement on the club’s website, the Nigerian was said to have polled over 57% of the votes to win the accolade.

This follows up from last season’s performance that saw him finish with six goals and five assists, in his first season after completing a permanent move to the Canaries.
