Ezeji bemoans Enyimba, Rivers United and Bayelsa United’s poor goals return

Former Enyimba and Dolphins striker, Victor Ezeji has bemoaned the profligacy of Nigerian teams in front of goal in the CAF club Competitions.

At the weekend, Bayelsa United pipped CS Sfaxien 1-0 while Enyimba snatched a narrow 1-0 victory in Thies against Diambars, both in the Confederation Cup qualification round.
Meanwhile Rivers United were held at home, 1-1 by Al Hilal in the Champions League.
Reacting to the performance of the teams, Ezeji told FL that while the results appeared hopeful, the quality of finishing left a lot to be desired.
He expressed fears the teams will struggle to reach the group stages of their respective competitions.
The Champions League winner urged the teams to upgrade the technical level of the strikers, who seem content with the amount of effort being put.
