Goodison Park went wild on the hour mark when James Tarkowski’s header ended up in the back of the net to give them the lead against League leaders Arsenal on Saturday in what seems a resurgence for the Toffees.

Eventually, the Tarkowski goal proved to be vital as new Manager Sean Dyche got his tenure at the helms off to a winning start.

The hosts had endured the waves of unending assault from the high-flying Gunners, a barrage of attack that saw Everton manage only 26percent ball possession at some point.

Dyche restructured the team defensively and it paid off, despite Arsenal registering 15 goals attempt, they only managed to get 3 shots on goal.

It was also Everton’s first win in 8 PL games and Alex Iwobi’s 4th victory against Arsenal in seven games since his move from the Emirates Stadium in 2019.
