Everton suffered one of their biggest home defeats this season losing 4-1 at home to Brighton in the Premier League on Tuesday night.

The result leaves Frank Lampard’s future hanging in the balance as Everton have now gone six games without a win in the league and are just a point above the relegation zone.

Against Brighton Lampard’s men looked out of sorts and though they had conceded just one goal in the first half, they shipped in three inside 8 minutes with some horrendous football.

Alex Iwobi won a late penalty which was converted by Demarai Gray, the duo were Everton’s best performers on the night.

Next up for the Toffees is a trip to Manchester United in the FA Cup on January 6, before the relegation scrap against Southampton on the 14th.
