Nigerian duo Alex Iwobi and Emmanuel Dennis where in action as Everton shared the spoils with Nottingham Forest in an intense Four-goal thriller in the PL on Sunday.
Iwobi started from the onset for Everton, while Emmanuel Dennis came off the bench in final 20 minutes.
Everton drew first blood, as Demarai Gray converted from the spot kick in the 10th minute to put the Toffees ahead, however, Nottingham Forest answered with the perfect reply.
Steve Cooper’s side leveled just nine minute after Brennan Johnson found himself in space to smash home from close range after Jordan Pickford’s save spilled onto his direction.
Once again, Everton went in front through Abdoulaye Doucoure whose strong header was enough for Everton to beat Keylor Navas to restore the visitor’s lead as the half ended.
The second half was a different tale as Nottingham forest came out very strong and looked the better team.
Everton held their own defensively, and we’re on the verge of what would have been a great result, but Nottingham Forest were having none of it, and yet again it was Johnson that came to his side’s rescue with a 77th minute equaliser.
Forest pushed on for what would have been a famous victory, but Sean Dyche’s men held their ground to share the spoils.
