After scoring his first Championship goal for Stoke City over the weekend against Nottingham Forest, Super Eagles combative box to box midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo is still relieving the moment.

Etebo opened the scoring for the Potters in the 15th minute of the encounter dribbling past the Forests defenders before curling a shot past Costel Pantilimon after receiving the ball from Thomas Ince while DR Congo forward Benik Afobe made it two-nil in the 74th minute to see a win for the home side.

Reacting to the game and the goal scored, the former Warri Wolves midfielder and Olympic bronze medalist expressed his happiness on his Instagram post. He wrote; “Well Deserved 3 points, Feels great to get my 1st goal for potters heads up and up to the next”

Stoke City is currently 16th on the log after 35 games with the hopes of returning to the premier league at the end of the season already dashed. The club’s next game is against Queen Park Rangers away from home.
