Esiti in, Uche Agbo Out! Ferencvaros march on in the Champions League

Anderson Esiti completed another good game for Ferencvaros as his side punched their ticket for the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round.

Ferencvaros smashed their hosts 4-1 in the second leg, bouncing back from a 2-1 defeat in the reverse fixture at home.
Esiti played 180 minutes over two legs of the tie against the Slovak Champions and brings his appearance in the qualifying phase of the competition to four games.
His compatriot, Fortune Bassey was an unused substitute in Wednesday’s encounter, while Slovan Bratislava had Uche Agbo feature in the final minutes.
Agbo was a stoppage time substitute; a second cameo in the UCL with Bratislava.
Meanwhile, the Slovaks will be playing to reach the Europa League, starting with a tie against Greek side Olympiacos.
On the other hand, Ferencvaros will get their next round of the UCL qualifiers off in Azerbaijan.
They will battle against Qarabag on August 3 and six days later will host the return leg –  scheduled for August 9.
