Enyimba coach Usman Abdalla has said the immediate target is for him to qualify for the NPFL playoffs and after that it will be a different ball game.
The two groups will produce six teams for the playoffs, which will determine the champions of the NPFL this season.
Enyimba are second on the table with 25 points from 16 matches, six points behind Group A leaders Enugu Rangers.
“We are only trying to qualify (for the playoffs),” coach Abdalla said.
“Nobody gets a trophy when you come first, second or third; so it’s just to qualify.
“The most important thing is that I only want to look at the fourth position of the table. The more Enyimba is far away from the team that is in the fourth position, the safer we are.
“The playoffs is going to be a totally different scenario. We will keep on working until we reach the playoffs, then from there we start all over again.”
