The English FA has taken the first step to ensure Striker Tammy Abraham commits his international future to England, brila.net understands.

Abraham could be handed a call up by Three Lions Manager, Gareth Southgate for the Euro 2020 qualifiers against Czech Republic and Bulgaria.

Per Sami Mokbel [SportsMail], the Football Association have requested Abraham’s medical records for Chelsea – a clear indication that he is under serious consideration for October’s Euro 2020 qualifiers.

The 21 year-old striker, who is eligible to represent Nigeria through his Father, has played for England at all age groups but needs to feature in a competitive game to become a full international.

It is also believed Southgate rates the young forward, highly, having spoke about him last month as being ‘on my radar’.

Southgate announces his squad on Thursday and Abraham is very likely to accept the recall – he played in the friendly against Germany on November 10.
