Emphatic 4-0  win for Akpoguma’s Hoffenheim, Bazee gets Augsburg cameo


Hoffenheim opened their 2021 German Bundesliga campaign with a dominant display, trouncing Augsburg 4-0 on Saturday.

Playing away from home, Die Kraichgauer made light work of their hosts, Croatian Andrej Kamaric registering three assists and walking away with the MOTM award.
The away fans cheered their side  on, each player with a sterling display on the day.
It was equally a good afternoon for Nigerian RB Kevin Akpoguma, the young player got 73 minutes of action.
Akpoguma was rated one of the better defenders on the pitch at any time during the duration of the game.
He won a joint game high 3 successful tackles, 2 clearances and 1 block in addition to his offensive stats.
On the opposing side, Noah Sarenren Bazee was introduced from the bench for the last 9 minutes.
