Suspended Captain of Enyimba FC, Austin Oladapo has issued a rallying cry to his teammates after the outcome of the CAF Confederation Cup playoff, mandating them to do it because of their careers.
Oladapo who spoke with brila.net explained that while Enyimba’s qualification is paramount, it is also essential that the players play for themselves as well.
The midfielder, who is currently serving a reduced ban for drug related issues, charged his teammates to cease the opportunity of playing against the nest teams on the continent on the biggest stages to make major career statements.
He argues that only when teams like Al Ittihad are eliminated will they receive a life-changing offer.
Enyimba have been drawn against Sudan’s Al-Ittihad in the play-off round of the CAF Confederation Cup qualifiers.
