Nigeria was predictable and South Africa exploited the weaknesses in the team, Banyana Banyana head Coach Desiree Ellis disclosed during her post-match Presser.

South Africa beat Nigeria 2-1 in their opening Women’s Africa Cup of Nations group C match at Stade Prince Moulay Al Hassan on Monday.
Two quick second half goals from Jermaine Seoposenwe (61′) and Hildah Magaia (63′) set the 2018 finalist on their way to another famous win.
Both goals were team goals that exploited a porous midfield and an old CB pairing in the Defense.
Banyana Coach Desiree Ellis explained the instruction to her Players after a decent but goalless first half.
“We forced them to play long balls and we knew we can force them to make mistakes at the back which they did, the players delivered our plans,” Ellis said.
“We have to focus, we are done with this game and we have to focus on our objectives for the tournament.”
