Super Eagles CB William Troost-Ekong has drawn confidence from the quality of his teammates ahead of the crucial World Cup play-off against Ghana on Tuesday.

Ekong was available for the entire duration in the first leg of the tie when Nigeria held Ghana’s Black Stars to a goalless draw at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
The 28 year-old could return for the Eagles Today when they will face the same opponents at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja for the second leg of the qualifier.
Ekong insists Nigeria boasts proven goal scorers, supported by capable alternatives on the bench as well as a sturdy defence that won’t leak goals.
The Eagles have only conceded twice in five matches in 2022, and conceded only three goals in the second round.
