Super Eagles winger, Chidera Ejuke bagged an assist for Hertha Berlin in the 2-2 draw against Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
Ejuke, who is on loan from CSKA Moscow, has played all matches for Hertha Berlin this season and this week’s assist is his first goal involvement for his club.
However, the 24 year-old’s efforts was not enough to get all three points for his club at home against Leverkusen.
The Nigerian made his mark in Saturday’s league game with an assist in the 56th minute for Suart Serdar.
But, Ejuke would not play all 90 minutes amd.was replaced by Marco Richter, eleven minutes after Hertha’s goal.
With Hertha Berlin in 15th spot on the Bundesliga table, they team needs to stay consistent.
They have won only once this season out of six matches played, while Saturday’s opponents, Bayer Leverkusen, have also won just once in the league this season.
