Rivers United coach, Stanley Eguma is optimistic that his team will secure their first league win of the season in Sunday’s clash against FC Ifeanyi Ubah.
Eguma’s side are still without s win after two matches in the 2019/2020 Nigeria professional football league season.
“Anyone who saw our game against Heartland will wonder why we did not win by at least three clear goals.
“We dominated from start to finish while they had just one clear chance which they scored with.
“I am not one to cry over spilt milk as I am sure that with the work we have put in this week, we will correct the mistakes against Heartland when we face (FCIU) on Sunday,” Eguma concluded.
Rivers started the season with a 0-0 draw on the road against Kano Pillars, and were held 1-1 at home by Heartland in match day 2.
