Nigeria forward Emem Eduok saw his 116th Turkish Super Lig game end in victory as his club Erzurum BB defeated Akhisarspor 2-1 at the Kazim Karabekir Stadium on Monday night.
The former Akwa United, Dolphins, Esperance and Kasimpasa star fired blank in the game for the relegation threatened Erzurum BB. He was subbed off for Jasmin Scuk in the 90th minute of action.
Goals from Ibrahim Akdag and Gilles Sunu in the space of four minutes galvanized the hosts to a priceless victory.
The win now puts Hamza Hamzaoglu’s side 17th with 25 points after 28 round of games.
Erzurum BB have struggled for form this term.
They are now found playing catch up as they look to redeem themselves in the games to come.
Eduok represented Dolphins and Akwa United in his homeland before transferring to Espérance in January 2015.
