Ahead of Saturday’s AFCON 2019 round of 16 clash against Cameroon, midfielder John Ogu says there is a strong commitment among Super Eagles players to go all out against the defending champions.
In a chat with footballlive.ng Ogu revealed that the players feel “like they haven’t given their best all along.
The midfielder stressed that the players understand they can do more and are resolved to bring their A game against Cameroon on Saturday.
“We as players feel like we have not really given our best but we can really be proud that we made it past the group stage.
“Now we have a big game against Cameroon. That’s what we are looking forward to, it’s not going to be easy.
“We had a meeting among ourselves and we talked to ourselves to come out with our A-game because the game is very important to Nigerians back home and we are looking forward to achieving this.”
