Duru wants more opportunities for home lads

Date:

Lobi Stars left back, Ebube Duru believes the performance of home lads in the Super Eagles win over Liberia will now be a gateway for more invitations to the national team by the handlers.

Duru was a second half substitute for the Eagles who won 2-1 on Tuesday in Monrovia.
He said without fear or favour those of them that played the match gave good account of themselves.
“Our performance against Liberia should open doors for more home lads to be invited to the Super Eagles,” Ebube Duru told Footballlive.ng.
“The feeling was great and perfect. Everyone want to represent their fatherland.
“There are good players on the local scene who have what it takes to play for the Super Eagles. I belief the technical handlers of the Super Eagles will give us more opportunities to shine and we won’t disappoint their trust in us,” concluded the Lobi Stars defender.
