Former Nigeria International, Duke Udi has labeled NPFL players as part of the problem facing the growth of the Nigerian league.
Udi’s remarks come in the wake of the infamous match results and officiating that has become rampant across match centers in the country.
In a chat with FL, Udi who played and also Coach in the NPFL, noted that a lot of players influence club officials to bribe match referees.
The former Sunshine Stars Coach also lamented how Players illegally influence the outcomes of games and such acts go unchecked despite being unethical.
He sternly warned that such Players risk not fulfilling their ambitions of reaching the highest levels if caught in such acts and it will impede their development as professionals.
