Former Super Eagles winger, Duke Udi has expressed disappointment in Cameroon football icon, Samuel Eto’o, over the latter’s decision to extend his tenure as the president of FECAFOOT.

The decision by Eto’o action comes less than a year of his leadership of FECAFOOT, the football governing body in Cameroon.

Eto’o has three years left in his tenure, according to the constitution before it was amended.

Delegates in support of the new development argue that the former Barcelona and Chelsea striker cannot carry out the projects in four years, hence, extending the tenure.

This development has not gone down well with a lot of people including Duke Udi, who accused the African football legend of “greed.”

He went on to say absolute power corrupts absolutely, which was why Eto’o decided to do things his own way.

The former Nigeria international however, suggested that African governing bodies should rather increase the years by which constitutions can be reviewed by law.
