Dream Stars ladies fighting for NWPL survival

Dream Stars Ladies will play host to Adamawa Queens in the last match of the 2018/2019 NWPL season at Agege Township Stadium on Wednesday.

The game, a must-win, for Dream Stars will ensure the don’t finish bottom of Group B.

 

Adamawa Queens are with eleven points, closely followed by Edo Queens with ten points, Heartland Queens are in the third position with four points, Dream Stars Ladies have three points from five games.

 

“We are not happy with our position after the first five matches, we know what is at stake in the match against Adamawa Queens.

 

“The players are fired up and we are all ready to give our best to ensure we finish the season strongly and to avoid being the last team on the log,” said Dream Star Ladies captain Judith Ngwaogu.

 

The Dream Stars have played five matches in the league with one victory and four losses. Adamawa Queens won the first-leg 2-0 in Fufure.
