Former Nigeria International, Patrick Pascal has tasked football fans in Nigeria to stop comparing the chances of the Super Eagles at the World Cup, with African teams in the tournament.
Pascal said it is not possible to simply analyse how Nigeria would have performed at the World Cup, when the team did not qualify in the first place.
He noted that fans, just like the players, needs to look to the future and hopes the mistakes that cost the team a place in Qatar will be corrected.
The Super Eagles team coordinator told FL, while it is important to focus on the upcoming World Cup, wholesome development of the sport is needed.
He explained that there is the important factor of having a proper factor into place and make everything to work together to develop the sport in the country.
