Goals from Giovanni Di Lorenzo (45+3′) and Victor Osimhen (48′) powered Napoli to another win in the Serie A as they maintain a strong grip on the league title.
Napoli reacted brilliantly to the 1-0 defeat against Inter Milan – their only L yet in the league this season.
They bounced back with wins against Sampdoria, Juventus and cracked a stubborn Salernitana at the Stadio Arechi to build a 12points lead atop the Serie A table, with both second and third placed Milan and Inter due to play on Sunday.
Luciano Spalleti’s side dominated every meaning section of the stats board including total passes which stood at 792 to the host’s 271 passes.
It was a one-sided game and the visitors deserved the win.
Meanwhile, Osimhen takes his goal tally to 13 (3 assists) in 15 appearances and he’s now just one goal shy his all-time record (14g 2a)in the Serie A.
