Dessers too Expensive for Rangers

According to a report from Scottish Daily Mail, Glasgow Rangers are hesitant to match Cremonese’s £6.5 million valuation for Cyriel Dessers.

Cremonese are bent on the fee and will not negotiate their valuation – in the view to accept less – for Dessers, and it could potentially impede Rangers’ pursuit of the Nigerian forward.

Rangers coach Michael Beale holds the 28 year-old in high regards, and views him as a valuable addition to the squad, particularly to complement the efforts of new signing Sam Lammers, given the departure of Alfredo Morelos.

However, Dessers might have an outlet, as his wishes to continue in Italy for a Serie A team has ignited interests from several Serie A teams including Torino.

During his debut season in Italy, the Nigerian was reliable in attack for Cremonese scoring seven goals and providing two assists in twenty-nine appearances across all competitions.
