Super Eagles striker, Cyriel Dessers has been handed a lifeline by Scottish giants, Rangers as reports have linked him with a move to The Gers.

Rangers and Cremonese are reportedly close to reaching a deal for the striker, according to sources in Italy.

Dessers will cost the Gers €4.2m plus €1m in add-ons, though he just joined Cremonese last summer after leaving KRC Genk.

The Forward, though, is keen about leaving the team after they were relegated from Serie A.

In 26 league appearances for Cremonese in the 2022–23 season, he scored six goals.

Rangers will participate in the UEFA Champions League preliminary rounds after placing second in the Scottish Premiership last season.
