Nigeria’s striker Emmanuel Dennis was on the score sheet for Club Brugge in their 4-0 demolition of Genk at the Jan Breydel Stadium on Sunday.
Fresh from his brace for the Belgian Champions in their UEFA Champions league clash with Real Madrid last week, Dennis received heroic applause from the crowd at the beginning of the game.
However the striker continued his impressive form in front of goalkeepers, when he scored his Club’s third goal of the night in the 51st minutes, after Hans Vanaken and Krepin Diatta had given the Club two goals lead in the first half.
Dennis was later replaced in the 69th minutes by his compatriot David Okereke who went into referee Jonathan Lardot’s book in the 80th minutes.
Mbaye Diagne completed the rout for Club Brugge who are now unbeaten in their last 16 games.
