Dele-Bashiru’s Reading want to bounce back from defeat to Bournemouth

Bournemouth showed their quality and ambition for a quick return to the Premier League with a comfortable 2-0 win against Reading at the Madejski Stadium.

Goals by Dominic Solanke (42′) and Jamal Lowe (59′) ensured the Cherries bagged a fifth league win on the bounce.
In contrast, Reading have now lost three games in row, conceding seven goals in the process.
Royals boss Veljko Paunović is not available for their trip to Millwall on Tuesday after he tested positive for COVID-19, but the team will have the full compliment of their top players including Tom Dele-Bashiru.
Dele-Bashiru was involved at the weekend against Bournemouth and contributed to an impressive team performance.
Looking ahead to the game against Millwall, midfielder Josh Laurent believes the team can take positives from the defeat on Saturday on their trip to the Den.
“If we go out again and play like we did against Bournemouth – especially how we played in the first half – but take our chances, then there won’t be many teams that can come back from that,” said Josh.
“So we want to stay positive, stay brave, take the positive things that we did into Tuesday and not be too disheartened from Saturday. We put a lot into that game – so we’ll have to recover well and stick together.”
