English Championship side Reading FC are close to completing the signing of midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru on a season-long loan deal from Watford.
Dele-Bashiru could be The Royals’ first signing of the summer and will immediately join the team ahead of this weekend’s league game against Preston North End.
The 21 year-old is having a medical at Royals today (Thursday) having agreed a season-long loan move from the Premier League newcomers, according to Sky Sports.
He would be Veljko Paunovic’s first signing this transfer window and per Jonathan Low [getreading], the move would signal a breakthrough in talks with the English Football League over the embargo Reading are operating under.
Dele-Bashiru joins Ovie Ejaria and Femi Azeez at the Madejski Stadium.
