Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote and Oil Mogul Femi Otedola have promised the Super Eagles of Nigeria a combined $75,000 per goal scored in the last stages of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
The Super Eagles received cash rewards after their round of 16 triumph against holders Cameroon, with Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu of Lagos State, Captain Hosa Okunbor, the AITEO Group and the Nigeria Football Federation splashing the cash.
On Thursday, NFF President Amaju Melvin Pinnick informed the teams that the two billionaires have also committed themselves to supporting the Eagles.
Pinnick confirmed that Aliko Dangote has promised to give $50,000 while Femi Otedola gave his words to gift out $25,000 per goal scored starting from their clash in the semifinal.
Nigeria will play Algeria in the semi-final on Sunday at the Cairo International Stadium, kick-off is 8pm.
