Italian Cremonese are in pole position to sign Super Eagles striker Cyriel Dessers from Genk.

The 27-year-old was linked with Feyenoord and Danish side Copenhagen, but it appears the player has now settled for the Serie A club.
According to Jurriaan Van Wessem, a Dutch journalist, who closely follows the Serie A, Cremonese have agreed to meet the four million Euros asking price for the Forward.
Dessers has two-year on his contract and has never hidden his intentions to leave the Limburgers this summer and KRC Genk are willing to grant his wishes.
Both parties are now getting closer and and it is understood that Cremonese Sporting director Simone Giacchetta left on Monday for Belgium to define the final details.
The Nigerian, last year, had a wonderful spell with Feyenoord, scoring 21 goals in all competition for the club.
Dessers has returned to Genk and he’s currently the leading scorer in the Belgian league with three goals and one assist in two games.
