Samuel Chuwkueze’s rising profile isn’t going unnoticed and while Villarreal know they can’t keep hold of him for long, it might be happening as soon as January according to some reports in England.

Chukwueze enjoyed a breakthrough season last term in La Liga with the Yellow Submarines, and has since then gone on to represent Nigeria at senior level.

The pacy winger helped Nigeria pick up the bronze medal at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, with him putting up some fantastic displays.

Little wonder the youngster is courting interests in England, France and among the biggest teams in Spain.

But, it is Liverpool who have been muted to be showing the strongest interests and could as early as January table a bid for the Nigeria international.

It is believed Jurgen Klopp is shopping for attacking reinforcements as the Reds make a push for the EPL title and a more than decent UCL title defence.

This has prompted scouting activities around the player and according to Goal.com [H/T Teamtalk.com] the Reds have no qualms with the player’s current €40million value.

As per the report, scouts from the European champions have been regular visitors to the Estadio de la Cerámica and it’s believed Liverpool could make a move as early as January for a player already thought to be high up on Jurgen Klopp’s wish-list.
