Chukwueze impressed off the bench in Villarreal’s Six-goal thriller vs Cadiz


Samuel Chukwueze got minutes off the bench for Villarreal are they survived a scare at home in the thrilling 3-3 draw against Cadiz in La Liga on Tuesday.

Chukwueze was a second half substitute for the hosts, coming off the bench in the 61st minute with Villarreal trailing 3-1.
The visitors had raced into a 2-1 lead in the opening 45 minutes forcing Unai Emery’s men to fight hard for a point eventually.
Indeed, the Europa League champions needed more of will power than a their illustrious pedigree to grind out a result, which they finally got in added time.
Several notable names had to step up to force the 3-3 draw, Boulaye Dia (goal), Serge Aurier (assist) and Arnaut Danjuma (goal).

Samuel Chukwueze also created chances and even had a well struck curler beat the goalkeeper but not the cross bar.
The Nigerian made his third league appearance of the season since his return in mid-October from a four months injury layoff.
