Villarreal of Spain winger, Samuel Chukwueze has received a fresh roll of superlatives, with the latest description noting his good steps and great style of play, following his form and goal against Levante last weekend.
While another Nigerian star, Moses Simon, was in action at the opposing end, it was Chukwueze who stole the show and got a 2-0 victory, much to the delight of match analyst, Quinton Fortune, footballlive.ng reports.
Chukwueze struck home from the edge of the box to make it two for The Yellow Submarine, who went ahead due to an own goal by Rober Pier, and the 19-year-old went on to celebrate with shaku-shaku dance steps.
In the course of the encounter, Fortune could not hold back his awe for Chukwueze, and kept heaping praises on the Chile 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup gold medalist and joint-most valuable player.
Villarreal lie 17th in La Liga, but Fortune believes the squad has enough talent to keep them up, and singled Chukwueze out among the lot, though the Super Eagles’ rookie played only 27 minutes on the pitch.
Fortune, who was a key player for Manchester United of England and South Africa’s national team during his heyday, took his awe the way into half-time during Real Madrid’s win against Valladolid.
Despite it being a different match, Fortune remembered the high-points of the clash between Villarreal and Levante, then chipped in some sweet words for Chukwueze, who could have even scored two minutes earlier.
Fortune also recalled Chukwueze’s dance style in celebration of his 90th minute goal, which was the lad’s third of the season in 16 Liga matches, and declared: “Samuel Chukwueze has been playing well for Villarreal.”
