Samuel Chukwueze may have to contend with the role of a squad player, but should he continue to make an impact off the bench the Winger could work his way back as a starter.

On Saturday in Villarreal’s season-opening LaLiga match-up away against Real Valladolid, the 23 year-old came off the bench.
His development under the tutelage of Unai Emery has been steady, although for the youngster, his function in the team has been instructional with little freedom to self-expression.
Chukwueze played 23 minutes on Saturday, eighteen minutes into his game though the Winger set up teammate Alex Baena for Villarreal’s second goal after Nicola Jackson’s strike in the 49th minute.
Baena scored again, this time to seal a 3-0 win for the Yellow Submarines as they their get their campaign off to a flyer.
