Former Arsenal’s academy graduate Chuba Akpom was part of PAOK Salonika team that won the Greek Super League title for the first time in 34 years after beating Levadiakos on a day of high emotions at Tomba Stadium.
Akpom joined Greek side PAOK Salonika on a three-year deal back in 2018 , bringing to an end a 16-year affair with Arsenal after so many loan moves.
Akpom made his debut with the club as a substitute in a 1–0 home win game against Asteras Tripoli back in November 2018 and scored his first goal with the club in a 2–1 home Super League win game against Panetolikos .
Akpom was a key player in PAOK’s title push , but was an unused substitute on when PAOK won 5–0 at home against already relegated Levadiakos F.C. to end 34-year wait to win the Super League title.
Akpom has chance to win the double with PAOK, as they go into their Greek Cup semi-final second leg match against Asteris Tripolis with a 2-0 lead.
