CHAN Qualifiers: Eagles can turn result around – Salisu Yusuf

Salisu Yusuf says his Players were demoralized after conceding the first goal against Ghana’s Black Galaxies’ in the African Nations Championship qualifier.

The B Eagles lost 2-0 in the first leg of the tie at the Coast Coast stadium, a Daniel Barnieh (50′) penalty and Seidu Suraj’s (84′) goal secured a comfortable win for Ghana.
Yusuf’s team now face an uphill task of overturning the deficit in teh return-leg in Abuha on September 3, but the Coach admits it’ll take a lot of work.
‘Football is a game of 90 minutes and we must look to over turn the two goals we conceded,’ Salisu Yusuf said after the game.
‘The team needs to work even harder than we did in the short time we had to prepare for this game. We have to turn things around in Abuja.’
