CHAIRMAN KWARA UNITED VISITS HARMONY BOYS’ CAMP IN LAGOS

Despite the tight schedule of the business magnate and hotelier, Sir [Prince] Oladimeji Ladi Thompson, chairman Kwara United who still found his way down to Isheri road, Ogba-Ikeja to identify with his wards and give them words of hope ahead of tomorrow’s game against Rivers United.

Mallam Bako Ibrahim, secretary, the leader of delegates to Lagos anchored the proceedings of the visitation, after the usual welcome address he calls on the technical adviser, Coach Abubakar Bala for the technical report. Coach Bala appreciates the regular financial and moral support of the State Government, quick response to issues by the management, unalloyed support of his lieternants and the technical crew, the power of endurance and understanding exhibited by the players, above all, the massive support accorded him by the good people of the state. He concludes ‘we are in Lagos for a purpose, to top this group and qualify the team for the final. We are ready to be the next champion, and that is the way we think, I therefore plead that you continue to stand, even more behind us.

The team manager, Mr. Oke M. Jimoh reintorates how self discipline the players and technical crew are in and off the field of play, he vouches on behalf of everybody that chairman will not be disappointed.

The chairman appreciates the His Excellency Dr. Abdulfatah Ahmed for his financial commitment and unalloyed love for the team, specially thanks the technical adviser and the technical crew, throws encomium on the players for their positive attitudes. Assures the players that something positive will happen soonest.

The chairman pays the match bonus of the first match and promises that others will be paid at the end of each match-pay as you go.

Onigbari Akeem, captain thanks the chairman for attaching importance to his presence and for appreciating them, he therefore on behalf of others promises not to disappoint him.

Harmony Boys have unanimously promise to swim through the Rivers unhurt Wednesday.
