CD Leganes are actively seeking to capitalize on the transfer market before the window closes by offloading their defender, Kenneth Omeruo.

Leganes is reportedly waiting to see if they can get a good offer for the Super Eagles defender before the transfer window closes in order to save them his exorbitant wage of 13,000 Euros per week according to Spanish outlet, Diario AS.

The 29-year-old first joined the team from Chelsea on a temporary loan in 2018, and in the summer of 2019, he signed a permanent contract.

Omeruo has one year left on his current deal, and the club wants to avoid letting him walk away for nothing the next year.
