Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong captained Watford in the absence of Defensive partner Craig Cathcart and featured for 90 minutes in Watford’s 3-0 defeat away to Millwall at The Den stadium in London.

Wales international Tom Bradshaw ran the show, as the 30-year-old bagged a first-half hat-trick to singlehandedly secure all three points for Millwall.

Millwall’s victory made it three straight victories for the Lions, while Watford will be looking for consistency as they have only won 1 of their last 4 games.

Meanwhile, Nigerian Winger Samuel Kalu was introduced at the start of the second half for Watford, but the former Bordeaux man couldn’t influence the game although he was lively and missed a chance to reduce the deficit for the Hornets.

But, Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye was an unused sub for Watford in the encounter.
