Cameroonian NBA superstar Joel Embiid wants Real Madrid to sign Chelsea’s Eden Hazard

Cameroonian NBA star and an ardent Real Madrid fan Joel Embiid has called on the club management to sign new players to replace the departed Cristiano Ronaldo after a shambolic performance that saw the team crash out of the UEFA Champions League in the round of 16 on Tuesday.

The Philadelphia 76ers center who was drafted 3rd in the first round pick in 2014 watched as the young but talented Ajax Amsterdam side destroyed Madrid at the Bernabeu for the first time in their history also breaking a seven straight losing streak against the Spanish giants.

Ajax defeated Real Madrid 5 – 3 on aggregate turning the tie around by beating the Los Blancos 4 – 1 thereby upturning the 2 – 1 loss in Amsterdam a fortnight ago in the first leg of the round of 16.

The NBA star has called on the Madrid board to consider signing Chelsea star Eden Hazard who is also a personal friend. “We need to go out and sign players this summer… Tough times as a Madrid fan!!!! Hi @hazardeden10 lol”

Real Madrid has been on the hunt for a replacement for five-time world footballer of the year Cristiano Ronaldo with Hazard being in the conversation but might not be released for the Los Blancos as the team have been slammed a transfer ban and will need every player at their disposal to be able to compete for honors.
