Bayelsa Queens forward Sebastian Flourish wants to finish strongly in the CAF Women’s Champions League as they are set to take on Simba Queens in the third place playoff clash.
The Nigerian side lost the semi-final to AS FAR Rabat 1-0, and Flourish described the mood of the team as sombre.
‘The team was not happy despite making history in their run to the semi final stages, because of how we lost.’
She also warned her teammates that the third place clash with Simba Queens won’t be an easy encounter.
The Tanzanian side lost by a narrow margin to holders Mamelodi Sundowns, who reached consecutive CAF WCL finals.
She also charged her teammates on the task ahead, declaring that, ‘We must ensure we least go back home with a medal.’
