Confluence Queens coach Ogbonda Whyte, has pulled his weight behind WAFU Zone B champions and Nigeria’s representative at the CAF Women’s Champions League, Bayelsa Queens.
Whyte stressed the importance of the tournament and what it represents for the country.
He said other nations are fast catching up with Nigeria on the continent and tasked the NWPL champions not to underestimate any opponent.
‘Every other team at the tournament will prepare hard against Bayelsa Queens because coming from Nigeria, they are still one of the teams to beat.
‘It’s more like the same energy we see these teams bring when they want to face the Super Falcons,’ the Coach reiterated.
Meanwhile, Whyte also urged the league organizers to do better, so that teams representing the country on the continent can be able to compete favorable.
