Nigeria’s representatives in the CAF Confederation Cup, Niger Tornadoes are scheduled to jet out to Guinea today ahead of their preliminary round second leg fixture against Santoba FC of Guinea.
The 2019 Nigeria’s Cup losing finalist lost the first leg 2-1 and must win in Guinea to overturn the deficit.
According to sources, the team’s contingent will have 18 players and 9 officials.
The second leg is scheduled for Friday in Conakry, and the Nigerian side are expected to begin training immediately they touch down in Conakry.
Head coach of the team Bala Abubakar believes his team will get it right in the second leg adding that they have what it takes to overturn the deficit
