Former Kano Pillars forward Junior Lokosa was not listed in Esperance of Tunisia 1-0 win over TP Mazembe of DR Congo in the first leg semi-final of CAF Champions league played at Stade Olympique de Rades on Saturday.
Esperance who are defending Champions of the competition faced Mazembe for the 9th time without their Nigeria import, but has Youcef Belaili to thank , as his second half goal ensure they pick a slim advantage going into the second leg in Lubumbashi .
Lokosa has been struggling for game time and is yet to find the back of the net since he joined the Club on 14 January 2019 on a two-and-a-half-year contract.
Lokosa scored 23 goals in 32 appearances for Kano Pillars, he finished as the top scorer in Nigeria Professional Football League last season, scoring 19 goals which earned him Eunisell Boot Award and N3.8million (N200,000 for each goal)
